Practical Europe Trips for American Travelers
Mister Travel USA is an independent travel publication for people in the United States who are planning a trip to Europe, especially a first one. We focus on the decisions that shape a trip: what to see and in what order, where to stay for your budget, how to get around, what to book ahead and how much to plan for.
Who We Write For
Travelers flying in from the United States, often for one or two weeks, who want a realistic plan rather than a list of everything there is to see. Our guides account for the practical side of a transatlantic trip, such as overnight flights, the first day after arrival and tickets that need to be booked in advance. Where costs matter, we show prices in euros with approximate U.S. dollar equivalents.
What You Will Find Here
Itineraries with day-by-day plans, realistic timing and travel times between sights.
Where-to-stay guides that compare neighborhoods for different budgets and travel styles.
Trip cost guides that spell out their assumptions so you can adapt them.
Planning advice on getting around, booking ahead and preparing a first trip. Start with our trip planning checklist.
How We Make Our Guides
We use AI tools to help research and draft our guides. Every guide is then read, checked and approved by a human editor before it is published. We check practical details such as opening days, ticket rules, transport options and prices against official or primary sources whenever they are available, and we list the main sources at the end of each guide.
Each guide shows its publication date. An “Updated” date appears only after the guide has been reviewed again. Read our editorial policy for details.
What We Don’t Do
We do not invent personal travel stories, reviews, ratings or testimonials, and partners cannot pay to be included in our guides or to change what we write.
